Batteries and inverters typically carry warranties of 10 years, depending on the brand. Solar panels have a 15 year product warranty and a 25 year linear output warranty. This means that after 20 years the panel should still deliver above 80% of its original production capability.

Installation time varies but typically takes 2-5 days, depending on size and complexity of the installation.

Solar panels can still generate electricity on cloudy days, though at a reduced capacity, and energy storage options like batteries can provide power during night time.

Recent studies have shown that solar panels can increase your home value by up to 4%. Keep in mind that the size of your installation, the monthly savings on electricity costs and the percentage by which you are reliant on the grid can all play a role here.

The size, orientation and structural integrity of your roof will dictate how much solar power you can produce. Your roof should be able to carry the weight of the installed solar panels (12kg/m2) and have enough exposure to direct sunlight through the day.
